Company Description Healthcare Job Description Seasonal Ed Rn Part Time 6 night shift and 4 day shift Houston Healthcare / Health Services - Hospital Administration Exp 2-5 years Deg Bachelors Relo Bonus Job Description The hospital based float RN is an experienced clinician who functions at the Competent or higher stage of our model of clinical expertise, supporting various units to achieve quality patient outcomes. The hospital based float RN provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently to patient populations with varied and complex needs and to different units/areas as assigned. The hospital based float RN supports unit leadership and has responsibility to participate in unit and hospital initiatives, and possibly contribute to service line or hospital wide activities. Duties and Responsibilities are cross-referenced to the hospital’s Pillars of Excellence: People (providing direction and plans, leading and managing people, ICARE values) Service (patient/customer satisfaction, interpersonal effectiveness) Quality and Safety (making judgments and decisions) Finance (driving for performance excellence) Innovation and Growth (leading improvement and innovation, role-specific expertise) SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS BSN Texas RN license or within 90 days of hire 2 years of acute care hospital experience BLS and ACLS through AHA Emergency Dept experience preferred Med/Surg experience preferred SCREENING QUESTIONS BSN? 2 years of acute care experience? Previous Med/Surg or Emergency experience? IDEAL CANDIDATE Someone with Emergency or Med/Surg experience, BSN, TX RN license active.
