Company Description Private Equity Investment/Fund Accountants Madison NJ 40-60K + bonus Leading Financial Services firm in Madison NJ is seeing Fund Accountants to join our growing team. Responsibilities: •Maintain all financial data in the investment database •Post all journal entries and prepare monthly trial balance reports •Reconcile all cash received from investors and investments •Reconcile bank accounts •Calculate capital calls and distributions •Allocate income to partners in accordance with terms of partnership agreements •Prepare and issue quarterly financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP for each entity •Maintain and update investment data (number of shares, location of securities, country of origin) •Interact with clients and provide information as needed Skills and Knowledge Required: •Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics •CPA and/or MBA are strong pluses •1-3+ years related experience in fund accounting preferably within the Private Equity field •Prefer knowledge of Bloomberg, financial reporting and financial products (ie: equities, futures, fixed income) •Proven ability to work as part of a team •Excellent client relationship management skills •Prior experience training, delegating tasks, and reviewing work is a plus •Ability to work in a fast paced environment •Strong organizational skills •Must be able to interact with others at various levels Additional Information tonyv@clarkdavis.com 40-60K + bonus
