Job Description We are looking for kind, caring and compassionate people who want to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients to join our team in the West of Edinburgh as CAREGiver’s. We are looking for people with the personality and passion to build great relationships with our clients. A minimum of 2-hour visits per client where we help with companionship, home help, shopping etc. For some we help with medication, other activities of daily living and memory care. Qualifications You do not need any experience or qualifications to become a CAREGiver. We will give you all the help and support to become a confident and successful Home Instead CAREGiver. Informative tools will be giving to successful candidates however, you do need to have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others. Additional Information - Flexible part time work of 10 to 12 plus hours per week- no must do hours and work around your other commitments. - Competitive rates of pay £10.00 to £10.50 plus holiday pay and additional payments towards pension, travel and waiting time. - A specialized training assessment program as part of our recruitment process on how to become a Home Instead CAREGiver - Our friendly and knowledgeable office team will be offering you support along the way and available as you need it. - Most importantly the chance to feel a part of the growing family of CAREGivers that really do care - Fantastic job satisfaction for all and career development opportunities for all who would like them. - We’ll match you with your clients, based on shared experiences and interests- once matched you’ll visit the same clients consistently and have a regular rota.
