Job Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in database administration and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in database installation, configuration, high-availability architectures, replication technologies, backup and recovery processes, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. This role requires solid Linux and networking knowledge, with cloud, Kubernetes, and containerization experience considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of database platforms. Design, implement, and manage high-availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions. Define, execute, and monitor backup and recovery strategies. Perform database performance analysis and tuning to optimize system efficiency. Diagnose and resolve incidents and technical issues related to database environments. Administer and support Linux-based operating systems and virtualized infrastructures. Collaborate in the management and support of cloud infrastructures. Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Kubernetes environments and container-based solutions. Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of platform services. Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Database Administration, or a related infrastructure role. Technical Skills Strong experience with: PostgreSQL Oracle Database MongoDB Linux Operating Systems Solid expertise in: Database installation, implementation, and configuration High-availability architectures Replication technologies Backup and recovery strategies Disaster recovery solutions Performance tuning and optimization Incident analysis and troubleshooting IT networking fundamentals Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar). Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters. Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar). Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure automation best practices. Languages Professional proficiency in English. Profile Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive and results-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Focus on service reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
