Circulates cases as it relates to unit scope of care. 2. Understands principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care. 3. Exercises sound judgement and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers. 4. Pursues own professional growth through continuing education and in-services. 5. Communicates effectively with staff, peers, director, external and internal customers. 6. Organizes work to complete duties effective and efficiently. 7. Serves as a professional member of the OR team. 8. Demonstrates competency in providing patient/family education. 9. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital. EXPERIENCE Required - Current Virginia RN License; completion of Peri-Operative Course or at least 2 years of previous experience as a Peri-Operative OR Nurse Preferred - Current Virginia License, minimum of one year Med/Surg experience; Previous CORT prior to licensed as RN EDUCATION Required - Graduate of accredited school of nursing with current license in the State of Virginia daVinci Robotics GYN Current RN license in the State of Virginia CNOR IDEAL CANDIDATE OR RN with daVinci and GYN experience 5 years plus IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE WORKED FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPANY(IES): Bon Secours, VCU, UVA Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
