Will use the nursing process to design, coordinate, and deliver care to meet the identified needs of patients having operative procedures. Assists in directing daily activities, leading, planning, controlling and evaluating nursing practices and operations for the specialty area. Provides patient care to assigned patients and is considered the clinical expert and resource for the specialty service. Serves as a role model and clinical resource to colleagues, staff, patients and students.
