ENGINEERING Cardboard is a video editor you can talk to. Describe the video you want, and our agent builds the edit on a real timeline. It runs in the browser and as a Mac app. We're hiring a Fullstack Engineer to own features end to end, then watch people use them and decide what's next. WHAT YOU'LL OWN - Product features across the stack, from the editor to the services behind it. - Getting more people from an idea to a finished video. - A fast, reliable editor, even on big projects. WHO YOU ARE - You've shipped product people use, and made the product calls along the way. - You're strong across the stack and notice when something feels slow or janky. - You'd rather ship something small today than plan something big for a month. - Bonus: creative tools, video, or real-time editors. HOW WE WORK - You own outcomes, not tickets: decide what to build, ship it, and check it worked. - You talk to users and look at the data. - You build with AI agents every day, and you're the taste and judgment in the loop. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Within your first six months: - You own an area of the product, and the team comes to you for decisions about it. - You've shipped things users rely on every week, and can show how they changed usage. WHAT YOU GET You'd be surrounded by people who are absurdly good at what they do. One started coding at 11 and shipped an app with 6M+ downloads in high school. One got into CS engineering at 14 and has been working on distributed systems for 8+ years. One's an ex-founder who took a company to 1.2M users and $300M+ in transactions. That's the team. We're looking for someone who'll raise the bar on technical craftsmanship and product quality.
